Bell Electric is proud to be the electrical contractor for this innovative brewery opening spring 2019 in the Blacksburg Industrial Park. Eastern Divide Brewery is a 12,000-square-foot facility boasting a production area with 1,000-gallon brew tanks, a full kitchen and tasting room, and a breezy dining area with room for 200 guests.
Work on the project began almost a year ago and includes custom remote control lighting, control wiring for the brew tanks and exhaust hoods, fire alarm and communications, and equipment installation. Powering the building is an 800-amp load center in addition to a 90-panel solar array on the south-facing roof installed by Baseline Solar.
A brewery is a functional environment and every square foot of space is critical to the final product. We enjoyed the challenge of creating an intentional design that emulates the ultra-modern feel of the facility. Rustic light fixtures and rich wood finishes converge with stainless steel lines to create an inviting, dramatic space.
